"We have an urge to celebrate life, we want to get fit and have fun . . . incorporating a competitive spirit . . ."

what is dragon boat racing?

Dragon boating is a team of 12 to 22 people in a canoe type boat, paddling in time towards the finish line. Included in the boat is the sweep (who stands at the back of the boat and steers), ad the drummer(who sits at the front and beats the drum). Dragon boating offers participants with a sport which is easy and challenging from novice to sporting types. It's a fun sport that promotes exercise and teamwork and is family orientated.

who we are . . .

Adelaide Survivors Abreast Dragon Boat Club Inc was established in 2005.

While breast cancer occurs predominantly in women, it can also occur in men and we believe it is important to raise awareness about this.
